The Perf Full Perf Gate is the pool-compliant gate designed to complete your Perf perforated fencing system. At 975mm wide × 1200mm high and fully assembled, it arrives ready to hang — no framing required.

The gate features the same marine-grade aluminium alloy 5052 H32 infill panel as the standard Full Perf panels, with uniform 9mm precision-punched holes throughout and identical matt black or monument textured Akzo Nobel powder coat finish. The 38×25mm framing profile matches the panel frame kits exactly, giving a seamless look across your entire fence run.

Strong corner stake construction gives the gate frame the rigidity needed to handle daily opening and closing without racking or twisting over time. The gate is designed for pool-side use and is compatible with both side-pull and top-pull pool latch configurations — hardware sold separately to give you flexibility in your choice of hinge and latch system.

The gate swings outward away from the pool (as required by AS1926.1), and the framing includes the necessary clearance for D&D Tru-Close hinges and either a Magna Latch (top pull) or face-mount lockable latch (side pull with packer). What is included with this gate?

This listing includes the fully assembled gate only — the perforated infill panel is already framed and ready to hang. Hinges, latch, packer and posts are all sold separately. This gives you flexibility to choose the hinge and latch style that suits your installation.

What hinges and latch do I need?

You have two gate hardware options:

Option 1 — Top Pull Magna Latch: D&D Tru-Close hinges on the hinge side, D&D Magna Latch (top pull) on the latch side. The latch is mounted 38mm down from the top on the pool side.

Option 2 — Face Mount Lockable Latch: D&D Tru-Close hinges, face-mount lockable latch with a 3mm packer kit (PP-PACKER-SP) and a gate stop. The packer is required to achieve the correct 8–10mm clearance between latch and post.

Both options use self-closing Tru-Close hinges. Full positioning diagrams for both options are in the Installation Guide under the Additional Documentation tab.

Which way does the gate swing?

Pool gates must swing outward — away from the pool as required under AS1926.1. The hinges are mounted on the pool exterior side. Make sure your post layout and gate opening allows the gate to swing clear when opened.

Does this gate match the Full Perf panels?

Yes — the Full Perf Gate uses the same marine-grade alloy 5052 H32 infill with identical 9mm holes, the same Akzo Nobel powder coat in matching Satin Black or Monument Satin, and the same 38×25mm framing profile as the standard panel frame kits. The result is a fully cohesive look across your fence run and gate.

Is this gate pool compliant?

Yes — the gate has been tested to AS1926.1, the Australian pool barrier safety standard. Note that compliance also depends on correct installation — correct gate swing direction (outward), a self-closing and self-latching mechanism, and latch height meeting local requirements. We always recommend checking with your local council for state-specific requirements.

Do I also need a Palm Gate if I have Palm Panels?

If you're using Palm (Deco) panels, the matching gate is the Palm Gate (PP-GATE-PALM-B or PP-GATE-PALM-MN) — available on its own product page. The Full Perf Gate (this listing) is designed to match the plain Full Perf panels. Mixing Full Perf panels with a Palm Gate — or vice versa — is entirely possible and can look great as a feature contrast, though most customers prefer to match.

Can I pick up my gate instead of paying for delivery?

Yes — free click and collect is available from Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth warehouses. Allow 1–3 business days for your collection reference to be sent after ordering. Do not go to the warehouse without your collection reference. Pickup is Monday to Friday, 7:30am–3pm only.

What packer do I need for the side-pull latch?

If using a face-mount lockable latch (Option 2), you need the PP-PACKER-SP — the Perf packer for side-pull latch. This 3mm packer is required to achieve the correct clearance between the face-mount latch and the gate frame, and to account for the double wall of aluminium extrusion. Warranty — the honest version

There is no manufacturer warranty on this product. None. Your guarantees under Australian Consumer Law still apply — goods must be of acceptable quality for what they are, and what they are is a budget imported fence, sold as exactly that. Due to the nature of our products — large-format aluminium fencing panels, gates and hardware that are ordered, warehoused and dispatched to order — we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect selection.

We strongly encourage you to carefully review your order before confirming purchase. Check your colour selection (Satin Black or Monument Satin), confirm your required quantities, and verify that you have the correct products for your installation method before placing your order.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

While we do not accept change of mind returns, we take product quality and order accuracy seriously. If you receive a product that is:

—Damaged — physically damaged during transit or delivery
—Defective — has a manufacturing fault or defect affecting its function
—Incorrect — does not match the product code or colour you ordered

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at sales@safestpoolfence.com.au with clear photographs of the issue. We will assess the claim and arrange a suitable resolution, which may include replacement or refund.

Claims made after 24 hours of delivery cannot be accepted — please inspect your order carefully at the time of delivery or collection before leaving the depot or signing off on delivery.

Order Cancellation

Once an order has been placed and payment received, it enters our processing queue immediately. Cancellation may not be possible once the order has been forwarded to the warehouse. If you need to cancel, contact us immediately at sales@safestpoolfence.com.au and we will advise whether cancellation is still possible.
