The 50×50mm Aluminium Post (2400mm) is the standard fence post for the Perf fencing system. At 2400mm long, it provides sufficient length for a 1200mm above-ground fence height when core-drilled and concreted in, or surface-mounted using the XP-BP-SET-B base plate set.

The post includes 4 screw flutes running its full length — these pre-formed channels allow clean, precise fixing of method 1 brackets or method 2 U-channels without the need to drill through the post wall.

Supplied with a flat aluminium top cap. Available in Satin Black to match the Perf Black fencing system.

How many posts do I need?

You need one post per bay end, plus one at each gate side. For a standard fence run, calculate: number of panels + 1. Example: 5 panels + 1 gate = 7 posts.
Can I surface mount the post instead of core drilling?

Yes — use the XP-BP-SET-B Base Plate Set to surface-mount the post onto concrete. This is faster than core drilling but may not satisfy pool fencing compliance in all states — check your local council requirements.
What length post do I need for a 1200mm fence?

For core drill and concrete installation, the 2400mm post gives 1200mm above ground with 1200mm embedment. For surface mount applications, you may be able to use a shorter post — contact us for advice on your specific installation.
Do I need to cut the post to length?

The 2400mm length is designed to be cut to your required above-ground height. A mitre saw or drop saw with aluminium blade gives a clean cut. The screw flutes run the full length so they remain functional after cutting.

Warranty — the honest version

There is no manufacturer warranty on this product. None. Your guarantees under Australian Consumer Law still apply — goods must be of acceptable quality for what they are, and what they are is a budget imported fence, sold as exactly that. All Sales Are Final

Due to the nature of our products — large-format aluminium fencing panels, gates and hardware that are ordered, warehoused and dispatched to order — we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect selection.

We strongly encourage you to carefully review your order before confirming purchase. Check your colour selection (Satin Black or Monument Satin), confirm your required quantities, and verify that you have the correct products for your installation method before placing your order.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

While we do not accept change of mind returns, we take product quality and order accuracy seriously. If you receive a product that is:

  • —Damaged — physically damaged during transit or delivery
  • —Defective — has a manufacturing fault or defect affecting its function
  • —Incorrect — does not match the product code or colour you ordered

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at sales@safestpoolfence.com.au with clear photographs of the issue. We will assess the claim and arrange a suitable resolution, which may include replacement or refund.

Claims made after 24 hours of delivery cannot be accepted — please inspect your order carefully at the time of delivery or collection before leaving the depot or signing off on delivery.

Order Cancellation

Once an order has been placed and payment received, it enters our processing queue immediately. Cancellation may not be possible once the order has been forwarded to the warehouse. If you need to cancel, contact us immediately at sales@safestpoolfence.com.au and we will advise whether cancellation is still possible.
